Famed Canadian singer Celine Dion is set to earn $2 million (approximately N3 billion) for a one-off comeback performance at the 2024 Olympics. According to TMZ, Dion will perform at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games on Friday, July 26, 2024.

The news comes as Dion was spotted at the Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris ahead of her highly anticipated performance. This appearance marks a significant moment for the singer, who has expressed her long-standing dream of returning to Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower again.

The 56-year-old singer had taken a break from her career due to her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder. Her return to the public eye began recently with an appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony.

This performance is set to be a highlight of the Olympic opening ceremony, showcasing Dion’s enduring appeal and star power.
