Cardi B has given birth to her third child, a baby girl, just over a month after filing for divorce from her estranged husband, Offset. The “WAP” rapper shared the news on Instagram on September 12, alongside photos taken at the hospital with the caption, “The prettiest lil thing,” and noted the birth date as “9/7/24.”
Cardi announced her pregnancy on August 1, the same day she filed for divorce, expressing gratitude for the new chapter in her life. Despite their ongoing legal separation, Cardi and Offset are now parents to three children: Kulture, 6, Wave, 2, and their newest addition. The couple’s relationship has had its ups and downs, with multiple breakups and reconciliations since they married in 2017. Cardi cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce filing, which requested primary custody of their children and child support from Offset.
As Cardi embraces motherhood once again, she’s also been active in addressing social media speculation and rumors, fiercely defending herself against allegations of skin bleaching during pregnancy.
