Nigerian music superstars Burna Boy and Odumodublvck have been nominated for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, solidifying their international influence in the music industry.
Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ogulu, received a nomination in the prestigious ‘Best Live Performer’ category. His energetic performances and powerful stage presence have earned him recognition among global talents like Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, and Travis Scott.
Odumodublvck, a rising Nigerian rapper, was nominated in the ‘Best International Flow’ category, showcasing his lyrical prowess and putting Nigeria on the map in the hip-hop scene. Best Duo or Group features notable collaborations such as Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross & Meek Mill, and 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne.
The Impact Track category, recognizing songs with a social or cultural impact, includes Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us,’ Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Hiss,’ and Nicki Minaj’s ‘Blessings’ featuring Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
