Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka, 24, has announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Tolami Benson, also 24, after a romantic proposal.
The couple shared black-and-white photos on Instagram captioned with the proposal date, showing Saka presenting an enormous engagement ring during a special evening at a luxury London hotel.
Saka organized an elaborate surprise that left Tolami overwhelmed, with sources describing the moment as incredibly meaningful after five years together.
Both of Nigerian heritage, the pair began dating in 2020 and kept their relationship private until Tolami appeared supporting Saka at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and Euro 2024.
Tolami, a public relations and media graduate from Birmingham City University, works as a senior planning executive in London and has been a constant presence at Saka’s matches.
The engagement marks a personal milestone for Saka amid his stellar season, with six goals and one assist in 16 appearances despite injury challenges.
