British rock band Oasis has confirmed its much-anticipated reunion, announcing a series of live shows in 2025, 15 years after their split due to ongoing tensions between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.
The band, iconic for defining the Britpop era of the 1990s with hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” will kick off their reunion tour with 14 shows across the UK, starting on July 4, 2025, in Cardiff.
The tour will then move to their hometown of Manchester, with six performances scheduled in Heaton Park, followed by two nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, and shows in Edinburgh and Dublin.
The announcement, made on Tuesday, included a statement from the band: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
This reunion comes after years of speculation and marks 30 years since the release of their 1995 album “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” which brought them international acclaim. Despite their split in 2009, both brothers have continued to perform Oasis songs individually to sold-out crowds.
