Hollywood icons Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have officially finalized their divorce after an eight-year legal battle.
According to reports, the couple signed the divorce paperwork on Monday, December 30, marking the end of their tumultuous separation process. However, unresolved issues remain, including a legal dispute over their jointly owned French property, Château Miraval.
Angelina Jolie’s attorney, James Simon, stated, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
The couple, who dated for a decade before marrying in 2014, initially separated in 2016. Despite their differences, their focus has remained on their six children throughout the proceedings.
