Bishop Francis Wale Oke has been re-elected as the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) for a second term. His re-election was announced at the 18th Biennial National Conference in Abuja, extending his leadership of the Christian body for another four years.
A statement from the PFN reads:
“His Eminence, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, is re-elected as the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) at the ongoing 18th Biennial National Conference in Abuja. We pray that the glory of this latter tenure will exceed the former.”
Bishop Oke also confirmed his re-election in a Facebook post on Wednesday, quoting Galatians 3:28:
“Honoured to be re-elected as the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
First elected in 2021, Bishop Wale Oke is the founder of Sword of the Spirit Ministries International and the chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University. His leadership in the PFN has focused on strengthening Pentecostal unity in Nigeria and advocating for Christian values in national affairs.
