The tenth season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) launched on Saturday night with the theme “Ten Over Ten,” introducing 15 housemates to the viewers.

The opening show revealed a mix of strong, confident, and diverse contestants, both male and female, ready to battle for fame and the biggest prize in the show’s history, 150 million.

The housemates include:

Zita, 24, said her parents don’t know she joined the show. She believes in not trusting people fully and promises to bring bold energy and independence.

Mide described herself as a “polished hustler” and is one of the most admired faces among the housemates.

Doris said she is very single and ready to mingle, but only with someone kind and smart.

Sultana, from Adamawa, said she values loyalty and won’t betray anyone. She is excited for parties and friendships.

Big SOSO is a lawyer from Kaduna who lives in the UK. She said she enjoys warm people and deep conversations.

Dede introduced herself as someone who loves drama and proudly called herself an antagonist. She said she came to win and make a strong mark.

Joanna, 21, from Benue State, is calm and elegant. She loves kizomba and salsa dance and said she is thoughtful and smart.

Isabella, a single mother from Rivers State, said she is “unapologetically a seductress” and isn’t afraid to show it.

Ibifubara, a 27-year-old therapist, also from Rivers, said she is focused on winning and doesn’t mind stepping on toes to get it.

Tracy, 27, from Anambra, is a graduate trainee who wants to enjoy herself and be free. She said she is done with pressure and fake expectations.

Ivatar, 37, is the oldest contestant. She is a media expert, a mother, and calls herself the “main character” of the season.

Sabrina, from Edo State, comes from a royal family and has a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics. She said she wants to show the world that strong women can also have fun.

Gigi Jasmine, 25, from Lagos, is a deep thinker who said she’s ready to challenge fake people and bring her true self into the house.

Thelma Lawson, 26, from Port Harcourt, is a skincare businesswoman who said she speaks honestly and owns every space she walks into.

Imisi, 23, from Oyo State, said she is bold, stylish, and doesn’t hold back her thoughts or emotions.

During the live show, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced new changes to the game:

– The Head of House (HOH) will be chosen every Sunday.
– The HOH must face a challenger every Monday to defend the title.
– Housemates will select one person each week for a special award based on performance and impact.
– Each contestant will earn money weekly, which will be added to their total score towards winning the ₦150 million grand prize.

The launch continues on Sunday night, with more surprises expected from Big Brother. Fans across the country are already picking their favorites.
