Gaza continues to face a humanitarian crisis as a three-week-old baby girl froze to death in the territory’s makeshift tent camps amid freezing conditions. This marks the third infant death from cold-related causes in recent days, according to medical reports.

Simultaneously, at least 10 individuals lost their lives during Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood on Thursday. The strikes, which injured 20 others, left many civilians trapped under rubble, prompting fears that the casualty count could rise.

Among the deceased were five journalists whose marked media vehicle was struck near Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat. The journalists, affiliated with Al-Quds Al-Youm television channel, were killed as they reported on the unfolding conflict.

The 14-month war between Israel and Hamas shows no signs of resolution, with both sides trading accusations of hindering ceasefire negotiations. Humanitarian organizations continue to call for urgent intervention to protect civilians and restore basic living conditions in Gaza.
