American pop star Ariana Grande has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s candidate for the presidential election.
This endorsement follows President Joe Biden’s decision to step down as the Democratic Party’s candidate on Sunday, July 21, 2024, and his endorsement of Harris as the party’s flag bearer.
Sharing a picture of President Biden and Vice President Harris via her Instagram story, Grande urged her followers to register to vote for the Democratic Party, captioning the photo with “Register to vote.”
According to The Hill, Kamala Harris has secured over a quarter of the delegates needed to win the Democratic Presidential nomination so far.
Meanwhile, former President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump has stated that Kamala Harris would be easier to defeat in the November poll than Biden. In an interview with CNN on Sunday night, Trump welcomed Biden’s withdrawal from the Presidential race.
