Angelina Jolie and Daniel Radcliffe celebrated their first-ever Tony Awards at the Lincoln Center last night. Jolie, who produced The Outsiders: A New Musical, secured the award for Best Musical, marking her halfway to achieving EGOT status. Meanwhile, Radcliffe won Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance in Merrily We Roll Along.
The night’s biggest winner was David Adjmi’s Stereophonic, which captured five awards out of its 13 nominations. Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ Appropriate and Alicia Keys’ Hell’s Kitchen also performed well, with the former taking home three awards and the latter two.
In addition to these awards, Jack O’Brien and George C. Wolfe received a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.
