The organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have announced the full list of nominees for the 2025 edition, recognizing excellence in filmmaking, acting, and content creation.
Among the standout nominees is Uzor Arukwe, who secured a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Suspicion. Veteran actress Omoni Oboli also made the list, earning a Best Supporting Actress nomination for The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3.
This year’s AMVCA will feature 28 categories, split between voting and non-voting segments. The awards ceremony continues to celebrate talent across various aspects of film production, including directing, writing, cinematography, and indigenous storytelling.
