The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) has announced the indefinite suspension of actor Adeniyi Johnson for what it described as “gross misconduct” and a breach of the club’s constitution.

The decision was made public over the weekend through AFRIMEK’s official Instagram page, where they stated:

“Adeniyi Johnson is hereby suspended indefinitely from the club (AFRIMEK). He has no right to portray himself as a member and is barred from participating in any club activities. This decision is borne out of gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.”

AFRIMEK is a prominent club known for its influential members within Nigeria’s entertainment industry. Prior to his suspension, Adeniyi Johnson served as the club’s Public Relations Officer.

In response to the announcement, Adeniyi Johnson expressed his disappointment and concern over the potential impact on his reputation and family. He stated:

“It saddens my heart that my honorable club made such a derogatory post about me. I am not bigger than the club, but before the club, there was Adeniyi Johnson. If care isn’t taken, that post could do more harm than good.”

He continued, “I feel this is detrimental to my name, my family, our standards, and upbringing, and most importantly, my brand.”

The actor also revealed that he had initially chosen not to respond publicly but felt compelled due to the volume of calls and messages he had received, especially considering his wife was unaware of the situation until the club’s post was made.

“I hereby implore my family, friends, and fans to stay calm and continue to show unwavering love and support,” he urged. “To all associates, I remain my humble self and thank you for your continuous belief and trust. God is with us all,” He stated.
