Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has cast his vote in the ongoing local government elections, describing the process as peaceful and orderly.
The governor exercised his civic duty at his polling unit in Sagba/Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, Ede. In a statement on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Adeleke expressed satisfaction with the conduct of voters across the state.
“A few minutes ago, I carried out my democratic duty by casting my vote at my polling unit in Ede,” he wrote.
He commended the people of Osun for maintaining a calm atmosphere at polling stations and encouraged them to continue exercising their democratic rights.
“Local government elections are the closest to the grassroots, and getting it right starts with electing the right leaders. Together, we will make Osun great,” he added.
