In a surprising move, billionaire Elon Musk has launched a new initiative offering $47 to U.S. voters who refer others to sign a petition supporting free speech and the right to bear arms. The program is exclusively available to voters in swing states, where political influence is most critical in the upcoming elections.

“For every person you refer who is a swing state voter, you get $47! Easy money,” Musk announced via X (formerly Twitter).

The petition, hosted on Musk’s America PAC website, aims to gather 1 million signatures in key battleground states. The PAC, backed by several prominent tech entrepreneurs, is designed to support former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. The petition advocates for the protection of the First and Second Amendments of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantee freedoms such as speech, religion, and the right to bear arms.

Appearing at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Musk warned that this could be “the last election” if Trump doesn’t win, while discussing concerns about Democrats infringing on Americans’ rights.

This initiative comes as Musk becomes more politically involved, using his platform to encourage action in support of conservative ideals.
