In his first outdoor campaign rally since surviving an assassination attempt, former President of the United States, Donald Trump addressed a crowd in North Carolina, taking sharp jabs at his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.
Speaking from behind bulletproof glass at the North Carolina Aviation Museum, Trump labeled Harris as “the most radical left person” ever to run for the presidency.
Warning of potential consequences if Harris wins in November, Trump claimed, “Your life savings will be totally wiped out,” and added, “If comrade Kamala wins this November, World War III is virtually guaranteed to happen.”
The rally was held under tight security measures, following an incident a month ago in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a gunman attempted to assassinate Trump, leaving one rally attendee dead before being neutralized by a Secret Service sniper. Despite the security risks, Trump emphasized his desire to connect with supporters, saying, “Crowds are an integral part of my campaign, and I won’t let anything stop me from standing with the American people.”
