British-born international actor and influencer, affectionately known as Mikky Onabanjo, threw a surprise event to celebrate his beloved and industrious grandmother, Mama Elizabeth Aboyade-Cole, on her 91st birthday.
Joined by other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Mikky Onabanjo orchestrates a jubilant tribute to the extraordinary life of Mama Elizabeth Aboyade-Cole, born on May 22, 1933, to the families of Ayanlaja and Jones.
Their collective admiration for her golden heart, tenacity, industrious spirit, boundless generosity, and other admirable qualities illuminates the occasion.
Reflecting on the profound impact grandma has had on their lives, Mikky shares, “My grandmother embodies warmth, resilience, and boundless love.
I remember when grandma would ensure I drank my tea before going to school when I was a kid, she took very good care of me and my siblings, Kay and Noah. Her total strength and dedication to our family have been a guiding light for us all.”
He continues, “Despite Mama’s reluctance to never celebrate her birthday following the passing of her first son two years ago, we, her grandchildren, respect that. However, we feel the need to celebrate her life and the incredible impact she has made on all of us. Grandma taught us to always give thanks to God in every situation. Her wisdom and kindness are treasures we cherish every day.”
Mikky Onabanjo, who is the son of the renowned philanthropist and CEO of Podium International, Ms. Titilola Aboyade-Cole, asserts that this year’s celebration is yet another evidence to grandma’s enduring importance to the family.
