The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested 39 individuals involved in inciting violence and displaying Russian and Chinese flags during the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests. Among the suspects is the tailor who produced these flags.

Police spokesman Mansir Hassan detailed the violence and vandalism committed by the suspects, including damaging a Hilux vehicle belonging to the Kaduna State Vigilance Service, a journalist’s car, a new generation bank in Tudun Wada, and the Kaduna Traffic Law Enforcement Agency’s Zonal office in Zaria.

The police, collaborating with other security agencies, managed to restore order using minimal force, including tear gas. They recovered 38 Russian flags, one Chinese flag, two catapults, a bag of stones, and other vandalized items from the suspects.

Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Ali Dabigi, reinforced a 24-hour curfew on Kaduna and Zaria Metropolitan Cities, warning residents against violations. He emphasized the curfew’s role in protecting lives and property and urged citizens to cooperate with security agencies to restore peace.
