Nigerian wrestler Blessing Oborodudu has advanced to the semifinals of the women’s 68kg wrestling event at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics.
Oborodudu, who secured a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games, demonstrated her prowess by defeating Canada’s Linda Morais 8-2 and France’s Lattoque Koumba 6-2 in her first two bouts on Monday.
As Oborodudu continues her quest for another Olympic medal, her performance has bolstered Team Nigeria’s hopes in the wrestling category.
