Organizers of Big Brother Naija have announced a significant reduction in the prize money for the upcoming Season 9, setting the winner’s reward at N100 million alongside a brand new SUV. This adjustment marks a decrease from the previous N120 million prize.
The season, scheduled to commence on July 28, 2024, will span 71 days and feature a novel twist: contestants will enter the house in pairs, promising heightened drama and strategic alliances among housemates.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, emphasized that the new format aims to inject fresh excitement into the competition.
“The ninth season of Big Brother Naija will not only bring drama but also introduce new dynamics with contestants competing in pairs,” Tejumola stated, teasing viewers with promises of intense emotions, challenges, and unexpected twists.
