
Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, known professionally as Rudeboy of the P-Square duo, has clarified the source of his wealth following his recent arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Paul Okoye, along with his elder brother Jude Okoye, was detained by the EFCC on allegations of financial misconduct. Upon his release, the singer took to Instagram to address the situation and assure his fans of his innocence.
“I no thief ohh. Na just good music de pay,” Okoye stated, emphasizing that his income is legitimately earned through his music career. He shared the EFCC eagle logo and announced that he is eager to return to his music projects, saying, “Eagle eyes, all cleared. Now let’s get back to the music next week!! New music!! Vitamin D.”
