Nigerian champions Rangers will face Zilimadjou in the first round of the CAF Champions League following the draws in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday. The league runners-up, Remo Stars, face a tough test after being paired with AS FAR of Morocco.
El-Kanemi Warriors, winners of the President Cup, were drawn against Beninoise club Dadje FC in the Confederation Cup. Enyimba, however, were exempted from the first round of matches due to their consistency in CAF competitions.
The first leg of the CAF Champions League games will be played from August 16-18, with the reverse fixtures taking place from August 23-25.
