Olamide will headline London’s O2 arena on 25 March 2027, with general ticket sales opening at 10am on Friday 23 October. The Yoruba and English-language rapper’s concert is confirmed by the venue and its official ticketing partner, AXS.
The artist’s UK event website lists an earlier artist presale from 21 October. The forthcoming general sale gives fans another opportunity to book for the Thursday concert at the Greenwich arena.
The O2 describes the booking as his biggest London headline show. Its programme promises songs from his career and his self-titled 2025 album, Olamidé. Special guests are planned, but names have not yet been announced.
In a statement carried by the venue, Olamide said: “London has always shown me love, from the early days to Wembley.” He described performing on The O2 stage as a long-held ambition.
The booking brings an artist closely associated with Yoruba-language street music to a major British arena. His work also moves between English and Nigerian Pidgin, a combination he has connected to everyday speech in Lagos.
In an October 2020 interview with Christian Askin for Pan African Music, Olamide explained that switching languages reflected how he spoke and related to people. He said he used the languages he understood rather than separating them into fixed musical categories.
That interview, conducted around the release of Carpe Diem, also documented his move towards singing alongside rap. Olamide said he had taken voice coaching and was learning production as he experimented with sounds beyond the style audiences already knew.
His work with younger musicians has been another part of that career. As founder of YBNL, he helped introduce artists including Fireboy DML, Asake, Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh. Asked by Pan African Music about supporting new talent, he recalled the difficulty of securing collaborations when he was starting out. He said he wanted emerging performers to have opportunities he had struggled to obtain.
The O2 and AXS list doors opening at 6.30pm on 25 March. Ticketmaster lists the event at 7pm, which is separate from the advertised doors time. The venue is on Peninsula Square in Greenwich, south-east London.
Ticketmaster’s event conditions restrict standing tickets to people over 16. Under-15s in seated areas must be accompanied by an adult over 18. The listing also sets a maximum of six tickets per person and household, with purchases above the limit liable to cancellation.
Ticket availability and prices can change. The ticketing page does not establish that every seating area will remain available when the general sale begins.
For tickets bought through The O2 website or AXS, the venue says purchasers will need to display their mobile tickets through The O2 app. The venue also directs buyers seeking resale tickets to its official resale arrangements and warns that tickets from other resale websites may be invalid.
Accessible booking information is available through The O2’s event page, which directs customers to its arrangements with Nimbus Disability and the Access Card. The concert’s general sale is listed for 10am British Summer Time on 23 October 2026.
