The former Chelsea star shared the news on his Instagram story on Saturday, posting photos before and after the procedure.
“Pre-op, let’s go,” Obi captioned a photo taken before the surgery. In another image, he reassured fans with, “All good, #PostOp,” showing him recovering in a hospital bed.
While Obi did not disclose the specifics of the surgery, his previous medical history includes a successful procedure in 2017, followed by rehabilitation.
