Of the total pilgrims transported so far, 4,390 are males and 2,873 are females. Meanwhile, Ondo State has reported that its first batch of 316 pilgrims has departed for Saudi Arabia, with more scheduled departures to follow as part of NAHCON’s phased deployment strategy.
NAHCON has praised the states and service providers for the smooth execution of the airlift and urged state welfare boards to maintain the pace and uphold high standards throughout the pilgrimage season.
The ongoing operation reflects Nigeria’s commitment to providing a seamless and dignified pilgrimage experience for its citizens undertaking the sacred journey to Mecca.
