Honourable Natasha Osawaru, the Edo State lawmaker romantically linked to legendary singer 2Baba, has fueled speculation about her marital status after adding the singer’s surname, “Idibia,” to her Instagram profile.
A check on her Instagram bio, as confirmed by the Press on Sunday, now displays the name “Honourable Natasha Idibia,” igniting widespread discussion online about a possible secret wedding.
The development comes just days after 2Baba’s estranged wife, Annie Idibia, publicly renounced the ‘Idibia’ name, intensifying speculation that the singer has officially moved on.
2Baba, who recently announced his separation from Annie, has previously expressed his love for Osawaru, even stating his intention to marry her. Their relationship became public when he was spotted at the Edo State House of Assembly, where Osawaru represents Egor Constituency.
In February, the singer reportedly proposed to Osawaru, and the couple was later seen celebrating at a nightclub in Benin City. While there has been no official confirmation of a wedding, the lawmaker’s name change strongly suggests their relationship has taken a significant step forward.
