A Federal High Court has granted bail to Omoyele Sowore, the convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, setting the sum at ₦10 million with one surety in like sum.
Delivering the ruling, Justice Musa Liman stated that the surety must be a responsible individual with landed property of equal value. The surety is required to submit the original documents of the property along with a passport photograph to the court registrar.
As part of the bail conditions, the judge also ordered Sowore to surrender his international passport to the registrar. Additionally, he was given 24 hours to fulfill the bail conditions or face police detention until the requirements are met.
