Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, formerly of the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s City of David Parish, has officially launched a new ministry, The Family Fellowship, in Lagos. The inaugural service, held at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island on Sunday, January 19, 2025 was filled with jubilant celebrations as members gathered to witness the commencement of the fellowship.
Iluyomade, who was suspended by RCCG in 2024 following backlash over his wife’s lavish 60th birthday celebration shortly after the tragic death of Herbert Wigwe, a prominent church member, invited the public to join the fellowship through a post on Instagram. The former pastor, who had been reassigned to RCCG’s headquarters in Ebute Metta after the suspension, expressed excitement over the new chapter in his ministry.
The Family Fellowship’s launch has been met with enthusiasm, with the service marked by dancing and joyous celebration, signaling the beginning of a new spiritual journey for Iluyomade and his followers.
