Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have officially ended their marriage, with final divorce proceedings set to conclude on February 20, 2025.
Court documents submitted by Lopez to the Los Angeles Superior Court on January 6, 2025, reveal that the former couple reached a settlement through mediation in September 2024, just a month after Lopez filed for divorce. Once finalized, Lopez, 55, will legally drop ‘Affleck’ from her name.
The pair agreed to keep earnings from their respective business ventures and projects, with no spousal support involved. Despite the separation, they plan to remain in each other’s lives amicably.
Affleck, 52, and Lopez married in July 2022 but separated on April 26, 2024. Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences.
Affleck has three children—Samuel (12), Seraphina (15), and Freshly (18)—from his first marriage, while Lopez shares 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her former husband, Marc Anthony.
