
Nigerian rapper Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince, has opened up about his challenging journey as an orphan. In a recent episode of the Listen Podcast, the “Aboki” singer shared how losing his father at age 11 and his mother at 21 shaped his life and career.
Recalling his struggles, Ice Prince revealed that financial hardships prevented him from pursuing a university education. “I didn’t go to the university because of N20,000,” he stated. “I had about two weeks to pay that money, but I couldn’t raise it on time. That was how I lost the admission.”
The rapper explained that he worked various menial jobs to support himself through school but often had to miss classes due to unpaid fees. Despite these challenges, he expressed gratitude for God’s guidance and hopes his story inspires others.
“I want people to look at my life and say if I can succeed, no one has an excuse to fail,” he said.
Ice Prince emphasized his determination to succeed without relying on extended family or external support, highlighting the importance of resilience and faith in overcoming obstacles.
