Nigerian music sensation, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, is set to make his highly anticipated debut at the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Returning to the global stage is Afrobeat maestro Seun Kuti, while Ghanaian artist Amaarae and South Africa’s Tyla will also represent Africa at the prestigious event. The announcement came through a digital flier released by the festival’s organizers.

Coachella, held annually in California, USA, is widely regarded as the world’s largest music and arts festival, drawing over 125,000 attendees from across the globe.

Seun Kuti first made history as the debut Nigerian act at Coachella in 2012, paving the way for other Afrobeat stars, including Mr. Eazi, Burna Boy (2019), CKay (2022), and Tems earlier this year.

This recognition marks another milestone for African artists as the global influence of Afrobeats continues to soar.
