
The newly elected Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, have officially taken office. Their oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of Edo State, Daniel Okungbowa, in a ceremony held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
During the ceremony, both Okpebholo and Idahosa pledged to uphold the Nigerian Constitution and committed to serving the people of Edo State in alignment with the law. Supporters filled the stadium and cheered throughout the swearing-in, marking the beginning of this new administration.
