Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P and half of the duo P-Square, has vehemently denied accusations of song theft from his twin brother and former bandmate, Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy. The controversy stems from Rudeboy’s claim that Mr P released a song titled “Winning,” which he alleged was written and sung by him for his upcoming album, but was unexpectedly released by Mr P with the same producer.

In his response, Peter Okoye clarified that the song was co-written and composed by himself and Calypso60, alongside the producer, Vampire. He expressed disbelief over the accusation, stating, “Person no dey thief him own property!” and emphasized that the song was a collaborative effort.

Through an Instagram post, Mr P appealed to his brother to allow him to focus on his music without any further negativity. He wrote, “Just as I said in my open letter three months ago, ‘Allow me to do my music in peace.’ Now that I have a new single out, please allow me to enjoy my new single, WINNING, in peace. Enough of the negativity!”

Mr P also thanked the collaborators involved in the song, acknowledging their contributions and urging fans to continue streaming “Winning,” which is now available on all music platforms.
