Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved up three places in the latest men’s rankings released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA). The update was made available on FIFA’s official website.

The three-time African champions, who were previously ranked 39th in the world, have also improved their standing within Africa, rising from sixth to fourth position. This advancement follows their recent victory against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya, where they won 1-0 in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture.

In the continental ranking, the Super Eagles are now behind the Atlas Lions of Morocco, the Teranga Lions of Senegal, and the Pharaohs of Egypt.

On the global stage, Argentina retains the top spot in the FIFA rankings, followed by France in second place and Spain in third. England and Brazil round out the top five.

The next FIFA World Ranking is scheduled to be published on November 28, and fans are hopeful that the Super Eagles will continue their upward trajectory.
