Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has spoken out about the ongoing controversy involving social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM). In a recent interview on the Afrobeat podcast, Falz responded to defamatory accusations made by VDM, which claimed that both Falz and his father, Femi Falana, manipulated justice and bribed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
VDM further alleged that Falz’s involvement stemmed from a supposed homosexual relationship with Bobrisky. Falz expressed his frustration and disbelief over the claims, describing them as baseless and harmful. “These are horrible things to say with absolutely no proof,” he remarked during the interview.
This controversy comes in the wake of a court ruling ordering VeryDarkMan to delete defamatory posts involving Falz and his father. The case continues to generate widespread attention across Nigerian social media platforms.
