
Popular Nollywood actor, Otunba Ayobami Olabiyi, widely known as Bobo B, has passed away. The actor reportedly died in Ibadan, Oyo State, after a brief illness. Olabiyi was a former governor of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) in Oyo State and was serving as the national secretary of the association until his death.
According to reports, Olabiyi had been admitted to the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan after missing a film set due to his deteriorating health. His passing has shocked the Nollywood community, with tributes pouring in from colleagues and industry members. TAMPAN’s Oyo State governor, Bose Akinola, announced the news, expressing condolences to his family and colleagues.
